The Apeks RK3 is a heavy-duty, compact rubber fin with an adjustable stainless steel spring strap and a short, wide blade. Based on fins used by military and safety divers for decades, they are designed to deliver high thrust and exceptional maneuverability in a durable package.

Why it's Onboard

We keep these fins aboard because they cover many of our underwater needs, from casual snorkeling and boat chores, to spearfishing and exploring the anchorage. They compliment the longer diving fins we also have, and together cover everything you need fins for under the water.

Real-world Verdict

As soon as you pick them up you can feel how heavy-duty the Apeks RK3 are. They’re worn with thin scuba socks, not boots. That bit of extra padding stops the fins from rubbing and keeps them incredibly comfortable, even when we're out swimming for extended periods of time. I find the short, wide blade gives a ton of thrust without sacrificing maneuverability, especially in tighter spaces.
