It all started with a group of mates who would spend every long weekend or bit of annual leave off an adventure. During a trip to Cambodia and Thailand the idea for Travel Sketch was born, filming clips to share online.

After that we decided we wanted more than annual leave, so set a date to quit our jobs and take off backpacking. When the time came, it was only a few of us followed though, and we spent the next year backpacking around Asia and road tripping across Europe.

From there the idea to get a boat started to come to the front of things. It was something Trent had wanted to do his whole life, working on it in the background for years. In 2021 three of us left Australia, moving aboard a 45ft catamaran we called SV Liger. The journey has taken more twists and turns than we ever could have expected, but this vessel serves as a base for anyone who finds themselves living aboard to explore the world and live life to the fullest.
