Additional Hand Rails

Price Range: $30 - $50
Heavy-duty, marine-grade stainless steel grab handles are designed to withstand harsh saltwater environments without pitting or failing.
Why it's Onboard
Our Leopard Catamaran didn't come with a dedicated place to hang tea towels in the galley or a beach towel in the rear cockpit, and there was no handrail to hold on to as you descended down into the starboard hull. We decided to mount two of these rails in the galley and one in the rear cockpit to immediately solve both of those annoying problems.

Real-world Verdict
Looking at the available space, we bought two 12-inch (30cm) handles for the galley and an 18-inch (46cm) longer handle for outside, choosing stainless steel designs that matched the exterior grab handles already installed on the boat by the factory.
Shorter 12-inch handle is similar to this option from GG Schmitt & Sons
Long 18-inch handle is similar to this option also from GG Schmitt & Sons
The installation was as easy as finding the center of the panel, determining the practical height and double checking we had access to the back before drilling the holes. We used solid stainless steel washers on the back to increase the load strength, and for the exterior handle, sealed it to prevent water ingress. These days our sealant of choice for bedding deck hardware is 3M 4000 UV.
We have no regrets installing the additional handles; we use all three on a daily basis!
