Our catamaran didn't come with anywhere to hang towels inside and outside the boat, and no handrail down into the starboard hull, so we installed two new rails in the galley and one in the rear cockpit. Both get a lot of use so we're glad we did it!

We found a couple options that were marine grade stainless steel, the correct length and matched the handles that came with the boat from factory. In the end we settled on two different sizes.

• Short handle is about 30cm (~12 inches) and is like this option

• Long handle is about 46cm (~18 inches) and is like this option

For the installation we centered the handle in the middle of the panel and decided the height based on other things around it. On the back we used stainless steel washers for added strength.
