FAQ: Am I allowed to work from my boat?

The two main factors to consider in whether you can legally work from your boat are visas and taxes.

  • Visa's are country dependent; some allow people to work on a tourist visa, others require you to get a work permit, digital nomad visa or working holiday visa.

  • For taxes, it's dependent on your personal circumstances such as your citizenships, where you're domiciled and what countries you're a tax resident of.
